Amber Bishop is an experienced spacecraft test engineer currently working at Blue Canyon Technologies since August 2020, having progressed from Spacecraft Test Engineer I to Spacecraft Test Engineer II. Prior to this role, Amber held the position of Systems Engineer II at Raytheon for a brief period in early 2020. Academic experience includes managing a graduate project on lunar lander design at the University of Colorado Boulder, where responsibilities encompassed project planning and design feasibility, alongside developing a thermal cooling garment for an EVA spacesuit simulator and leading human factors testing for a Martian lander mockup. Additional roles at the University include Lead Electrical Engineer for a wildfire detection rover and a systems engineer intern at Lockheed Martin, focusing on automation software for space missions. Amber holds a degree in Aerospace Engineering with a focus on Bioastronautics from the University of Colorado Boulder.
