Previous roles include President & CEO of Otsuka Pharmaceutical Europe Ltd., where Vahlgren revitalized operations and established new business units across Europe, and Global Head and Senior Vice President of Corporate Business Development & Strategy at Lundbeck, where Vahlgren spearheaded significant partnerships and acquisitions, significantly expanding the company's global presence. Vahlgren also served as Managing Director at Gramineer AB, transforming the company into a focused biomedical R&D entity. Vahlgren holds an M.B.A. from Copenhagen Business School and a Master’s Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark.
