Blue Cheetah Analog Design
Andrew Fitting has an extensive work experience in the field of analog design. Andrew is currently working as a Senior Principal Engineer at Blue Cheetah Analog Design, Inc. since 2023. Before that, they worked at Everactive as a Principal Engineer from 2021 to 2023, where they played a key role in the verification of energy harvesting switching power supply and designed an improved RF LNA for non-coherent wakeup radio.
From 2018 to 2021, Andrew was employed at Texas Instruments as an Analog Design Engineer, leading the analog design verification for automotive SERDES tapeouts and driving the adoption of a common IP system. Prior to that, they worked at Knowles Intelligent Audio from 2012 to 2018, where they served as a Principal Engineer Analog Design and a Circuit Designer. In these roles, they worked on various projects including the design and testing of PLL and the introduction of version control for the analog team.
Before their tenure at Knowles Intelligent Audio, Andrew worked at Texas Instruments from 2011 to 2012 as a Circuit Designer, where they designed MCML library for high-speed logic and verified circuit robustness. Andrew also had a significant work experience at National Semiconductor as a Circuit Designer from 2003 to 2011, integrating R3D mesh solver into CAD flow and developing GUI interface and unit test suite.
Furthermore, Andrew gained valuable experience as an Intern at IBM in 2001, where they coded nonlinear models and developed alternative interfaces. Andrew also worked as a Co-op at EMC Technology in 1999-2000, designing RF attenuators and developing automated control routines, and at Metrologic Instruments in 1998-1999, assembling test fixtures and improving automation macros. Finally, they worked as a Co-op at Lucent Technologies in 1997-1998, performing RF IC testing and designing impedance matching networks.
Throughout their career, Andrew Fitting has demonstrated expertise in analog design, verification, circuit design, and project management across various industries.
Andrew Fitting attended Drexel University from 1996 to 2001, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. Andrew then went on to attend Stanford University from 2001 to 2003, where they earned a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
