Joel Lou

Joel was previously the founder and CEO of JustCommodity Software Solutions, the leading commodities trading and risk management software solutions provider in the agricultural commodity space in Asia. Under his leadership, JustCommodity won numerous awards including Singapore Enterprise 50, Deloitte Technology Fast 500, “Best tech company to work for” in Singapore and the Red Herring Global 100 Award. JustCommodity was acquired by Allegro Development in June 2015. Joel was conferred the “Most Promising Entrepreneur of the Year” by APEA in 2011, the “Young Professional of the Year” in the IT leader awards in 2012 and conferred “Ten Young Outstanding Persons –TYOP” by Junior Chamber International in 2016. He currently serves as an Advisory Council member of the Singapore Management University's International Trading Institute, and is a Charter Member and board member of TiE Singapore. Joel holds a MBA from Imperial College London. Joel is an avid golfer and evangelist for Singapore.
