Champ Holt

Champ Holt is a seasoned actuarial professional currently serving as the Manager of Actuarial Services at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama since September 2025. Prior experience includes a tenure at Protective Life, where Champ held various positions including Director of Actuarial, Associate Actuary, and Actuarial Assistant from June 2018 to September 2025. Champ's foundational experience in the field began with an internship at New York Life Insurance Company in 2017 and includes a solid academic background, holding a Bachelor of Science in Mathematical Statistics and Probability from The University of Alabama. Additionally, Champ has experience as a Mathematics Grader and has interned at Holt, Mussleman, Morgan, & Alvis Law Firm, providing insights into both actuarial practices and legal procedures. Champ also briefly attended The London School of Economics and Political Science in 2016.
