Jim McKinley

Jim McKinley is a seasoned professional in the health information technology sector, currently serving as a Health Information Exchange Data and Interoperability Analyst at Alabama's One Health Record® since December 2018, where efforts focus on facilitating clinical data exchange among medical professionals and facilities. McKinley has been with Blue Cross and Blue Shield since July 1977, progressing from an entry-level programmer to a Senior Systems Analyst in Information Systems, with experience in HIPAA Transactions, Privacy and Security, and active participation in industry organizations such as X12 and HL7. Additionally, McKinley co-chaired the Claims Attachments Working Group at Health Level Seven from 2008 to 2010. A graduate of the University of South Alabama, McKinley holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business with a focus on Industrial Management.
