Susan Warren

Susan Warren has over 30 years of work experience at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama. Susan began their career at the company in 1989 as a Systems Analyst and later served as the Unit Manager for the Y2K Project Team. From 2000 to 2007, Susan worked as the HIPAA Implementation Manager. Susan then transitioned to the role of Department Manager in the Office of Strategy and Project Management in 2008. Recently, in 2022, Susan was promoted to the position of Director, overseeing strategy and project management at the company.

Susan Warren attended The University of Alabama from 1985 to 1989, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Based Management Systems. In addition to their undergraduate degree, they have obtained several certifications throughout their career. These include becoming a Certified Professional in Electronic Health Records from Health IT Certification in June 2008, a Balanced Scorecard Professional from The Balanced Scorecard Institute/George Washington University College of Professional Studies in May 2011, a Performance Measure Process (PuMP) certification from The Balanced Scorecard Institute/Stacey Barr/The George Washington University in February 2014, and a Key Performance Indicator Professional certification from The Balanced Scorecard Institute/George Washington University in March 2016.
