Laurie Burney

Laurie Burney has extensive experience in data management and process improvement, currently serving as the Director of Enterprise Data Management at Florida Blue since March 2011. In this role, Laurie leads a team of data management consultants responsible for the migration and quality of critical sales, enrollment, and product data. Previous positions at Florida Blue included Sr. Manager roles focused on continuous improvement, where Laurie successfully delivered a multi-year initiative to enhance the agent portal and significantly reduced enrollment cycle time through process redesign. Laurie's career began as a Project Designer at Matthews Design Group, where skills in AutoCAD and project management were honed. Laurie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the University of Florida.
