Fred Schlichting

Fred Schlichting is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in customer success and education. Currently serving as the Customer Success Manager for Large Group Sales at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City since March 2019, Fred focuses on providing affordable healthcare access and improving community health. Previous roles at the same company included Key Account Consultant and Account Executive, where Fred built strong customer and broker relationships in the 100+ market to enhance retention and engagement. Fred has also been a part-time model with Voices And Models, LLC since 2016. Prior to this, Fred held significant positions at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, including Director of Major Gifts and Director of Advancement for the School of Medicine, fostering philanthropic support while also coaching men's soccer for over 18 seasons. Fred's early career includes teaching English and coaching at Rockhurst High School. Fred holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Notre Dame.
