Stephen Nyamapfumba

Stephen Nyamapfumba is an accomplished actuary currently serving as an Associate Actuary at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas since April 2024. Prior to this role, Stephen held the position of Manager of Actuarial Services at Baylor Scott & White Health Plan from April 2016 to April 2024. Stephen's earlier experience includes serving as Actuary II at the Texas Department of Insurance from January 2011 to April 2016, as well as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at The University of Texas at Austin from January 2009 to December 2010. Additionally, Stephen gained experience as an Actuarial Intern at American National in the summer of 2010. Stephen earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Actuarial Science from The University of Texas at Austin between 2008 and 2010.
