Paul Sweeney

Paul Sweeney has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Paul began their career in 1986 at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, where they worked in various roles until 1992. Afterwards, they joined Delta Dental of Rhode Island as Vice President of Sales and remained there until 2003. Paul then moved to MultiPlan as Vice President of Sales, a position they held until 2007. Sweeney then joined Cigna, where they held several roles including Vice President of Dental Sales for the regional (MidMarket) segment, Vice President of Dental Growth and Strategy in the US Markets, and Vice President of Municipal and Labor Sales. In 2022, they returned to Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts as Vice President of Municipal and Labor Sales.

Paul Sweeney obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a concentration in Marketing from the Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst from 2016 to 2019. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Political Science at Providence College from 1981 to 1985.
