Sureshkumar Chinnappan

Sureshkumar Chinnappan has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Sureshkumar started their career at Venbro Softwares in 2002 as a Project Engineer, where they worked until 2004. Afterward, they joined Mediasoft Solution Private Limited/ eMbience Inc as a Senior Software Engineer until 2006. In the same year, they joined Nortel Networks as a Technical Lead and worked till 2009. From 2006 to 2010, Sureshkumar worked simultaneously at Nortel Networks and Wipro Technologies as a Technical Lead. Sureshkumar then joined Fifth Third Bank as a Tech Lead from 2009 to 2010. In 2010, Sureshkumar joined HealthEdge as a Principal Consultant and provided technical leadership to the company and its health insurance customers. Finally, they joined Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts in 2013 as the Director of Engineering & Tech Delivery, a role they continue to hold.

Sureshkumar Chinnappan earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science from Bharathiar University, where they studied from 1996 to 1999. Sureshkumar then pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Computer Technology from Periyar University from 2000 to 2002. In addition to their formal education, Sureshkumar has obtained several certifications including "Mastering Negotiation and Influence" from MIT Sloan School of Management in April 2023, "Certified SAFe® 5 Agilist" from Scaled Agile, Inc. in June 2022, "AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate" from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in May 2020, and "Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge (CCSKv4)" from Cloud Security Alliance in April 2020.
