Susanta Choudhury

Susanta Choudhury has extensive experience in data and analytics solutions architecture, with a focus on cloud computing technologies and big data tools. Susanta started their career as a Lecturer at Techno India in 2001 before moving on to Wipro Technologies as a Data Architect in 2002, where they led and managed large global engagements. In 2013, they joined Cognizant as a Sr. Cloud Data Architect, leading data design activities and developing enterprise-wide data strategy. At Amazon Web Services (AWS) from 2021 to 2023, Susanta worked as a Data Architect, designing and developing various data and analytics applications utilizing AWS services. Currently, they are the Director of Data & Analytics Solution Architecture at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts.

Susanta Choudhury completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Analytics from IIT Kharagpur - Vinod Gupta School of Management from 2014 to 2017. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) degree in Computer Science from IIEST, Shibpur, from 1997 to 2001. In addition to their formal education, Choudhury has also obtained various certifications. These include the Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services in October 2022, the Snowflake Certified Associate certification from Snowflake in August 2018, the Big Data Foundations certification from IBM in March 2016, the Amazon Web Services Certified Data Analytics - Specialty certification from Amazon Web Services in October 2020, and the Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect Associate certification from Amazon Web Services in January 2019.
