Jennifer Weghorst

Jennifer Weghorst serves as the Director of Talent Acquisition and Strategic Sourcing at Blue Cross NC since May 2019, contributing to the leadership team within the Talent and Organizational Effectiveness group. With a focus on aligning talent acquisition strategy with business goals, Jennifer oversees a team of 10 in attracting and securing top talent amid evolving industry challenges. Prior to this role, Jennifer operated as a Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant from August 2015 to May 2019, providing strategic support to diverse clients, including industry leaders such as Fidelity Investments and Microsoft. Jennifer's career began at Aon, where Jennifer worked in Talent Acquisition and Human Resources for over eight years. Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from West Chester University of Pennsylvania, earned in 1998.
