Rebecca Sink Smith

Rebecca Sink Smith is an accomplished population health program manager currently leading maternal health programs at Blue Cross NC since April 2023. With extensive experience in maternal health, Rebecca previously managed the Safe Sleep Campaign of North Carolina and addressed COVID-19 health disparities as Maternal Health Program Manager for the NC Department of Health and Human Services. Additional roles include providing leadership in pregnancy care management at Community Care of North Carolina and serving as Adolescent Health Coordinator for the North Carolina Division of Public Health. Rebecca's background also encompasses project management in research and education, highlighted by positions at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Dana Farber Cancer Institute. Educational qualifications include dual Master's degrees in Public Health and Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from UNC Wilmington.
