Tedra Anderson-Brown MD has had a diverse work experience in the field of healthcare. Tedra started their career as a Staff Psychiatrist at a hospital in 1997 and worked there until 2006. From 2006 to 2013, they worked as a Peer Advisor at ValueOptions, Inc. Moving forward, they joined Alliance Behavioral Healthcare in 2013 and took on the role of Associate Medical Director until 2016. From 2016 to 2017, they served as the Chief Medical Officer at Alliance Behavioral Healthcare. In 2017, they transitioned to Cardinal Innovations Healthcare, where they held the position of Medical Director of Substance Use Disorder Services until 2019. Currently, they work as the Behavioral Health Medical Director at Blue Cross NC, a position they have held since November 2019.

Tedra Anderson-Brown MD began their education at Duke University in 1983 and completed their undergraduate studies in 1987. Tedra then pursued a Doctor of Medicine degree at Duke University School of Medicine from 1987 to 1991.
