Brendan Stuhan

Brendan Stuhan is a legal professional with extensive experience in commercial litigation and healthcare law. Currently serving as Deputy General Counsel at Blue Cross Blue Shield Association since November 2012, Brendan manages litigation and anti-fraud activities within the Legal and External Affairs Department, overseeing a comprehensive litigation portfolio. Prior roles include Assistant General Counsel for Litigation and Medicare, where responsibilities involved representing the Association in various legal matters and managing a significant docket of cases. Brendan's litigation expertise was further developed through positions at Benson, Brown & Faucher, PLLC, Strauch, Fitzgerald & Green, P.C., and Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney PC, where Brendan handled a wide array of cases, including those related to commercial contracts, trade secrets, and insurance coverage. Brendan holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of Virginia School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Stanford University.
