John Furmanek

John Furmanek is an experienced IT professional with a diverse background in cloud computing, production support, and IT consulting. Currently serving as a Cloud Computing Engineer II at Blue Cross Blue Shield Association since March 2020, John has also held several key roles within the organization, including Production Support Analyst III and various positions focused on Microsoft technologies and desktop engineering. Prior experience includes IT support roles at ABS Associates and self-employment as an IT consultant, providing services to various clients. John began his career in retail with positions at Best Buy and CompUSA, and holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Media Arts and Animation from the Illinois Institute of Art.
