Nathan Fernandez

Nathan Fernandez is an experienced procurement operations professional with a significant background in strategic sourcing, data analytics, and inventory management. Currently serving as Director of Procurement Operations at Blue Cross Blue Shield Association since November 2017, Nathan has progressed through various roles including Manager of Data Analytics, Benchmarking & Reporting, and Senior Consultant for GPO Operations. Prior to this, Nathan worked at Atkore International as a Procurement Analyst, where responsibilities included procuring raw steel and managing supplier relations, and held co-op and internship positions at Eaton and Gentex Corporation focused on production planning and material support. Nathan holds a BBA in Integrated Supply Management and Business Analytics from Western Michigan University.
