Rongzhong Zheng

Rongzhong ("RZ") Zheng, CISA, CISSP, CEH, serves as the Director of Security Operation and Engineering at Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of NJ since 2006, where significant accomplishments include creating an IT DevOps environment, improving workflow communication, and reducing service level agreements by over 80%. Zheng has also held key roles in Security Engineering and Operations, implementing a Security Web Gateway platform with multi-factor authentication and developing a cloud framework for identity and access management. Notable achievements in the Security Operation Center (SOC) include building global teams that provide 24/7 monitoring and reducing operational expenses by 35%. Previously, Zheng managed network operations at NYSE and contributed as a systems engineer at Nichimen America Inc. Additionally, Zheng serves as Executive Treasurer of the Information Security Round Table at the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association and is a member of the VMware NSX Advisor Committee. Zheng holds a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology.
