Elizabeth Messina

Elizabeth Messina is an accomplished Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona since March 2007. Prior to that role, Elizabeth served as the Head of Strategy and Planning for Medicare, Medicaid, and Individual and Small Group markets at Aetna from February 2003 to February 2007. Earlier in the career, Elizabeth worked at IBM Global Services from January 1990 to April 1996 as the Head of Northeast Service Delivery, overseeing infrastructure for various outsourcing clients. Elizabeth holds a Bachelor of Arts in Management Information Systems from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, earned between 1975 and 1979.
