Eric Sweeney

Eric Sweeney has extensive work experience in the field of information technology. Eric started their career in 1981 as an Electronic Intelligence Analyst in the USAF. Eric then worked at SAIC as a Systems Requirements Analyst before joining Adroit Systems as a Member of the Technical Staff. In 1998, they became a Systems Engineer at Best Western International and later transitioned to Triwest Healthcare Alliance as a Lead Systems Engineer. In 2013, they joined PF Chang's China Bistro as a Senior Systems Administrator before moving to Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona. At Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona, they had various roles including Supervisor of Server Services, Manager of Information Security Engineering, and currently holds the position of Information Security Engineering Technical Lead. Eric Sweeney's career reflects a strong background in cybersecurity and system administration.

Eric Sweeney received their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Sociology from the University at Albany, SUNY, from 1991 to 1995. Eric also obtained multiple certifications from GIAC Certifications, including GIAC Security Leadership Certification (GSLC) in May 2019, GIAC Critical Controls Certification (GCCC) in May 2018, GIAC Advisory Board membership in November 2017, and GIAC Information Security Fundamentals (GISF) certification in November 2017.
