Tim Mawhinney

Tim Mawhinney serves as the President & CEO of Blue Cross Life Insurance Company of Canada, having held several key financial and risk management roles since May 2008, including Chief Financial Officer and Chief Risk Officer. Tim is also a Board Member at Vestcor since October 2016. Academically, Tim Mawhinney earned a Master of Business Administration from Edinburgh Business School and holds multiple designations, including Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries, Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, and Chartered Enterprise Risk Analyst. Tim Mawhinney completed a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of New Brunswick and is currently pursuing further studies at the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management.
