Richa Pandey is the Head of Partner and Customer Programs at Blue Current, Inc. since October 2024, following an extensive career at Ubiquitous Energy from 2012 to 2024, where Richa held various leadership roles including SVP of R&D, Vice President of Technology Development, Principal Scientist, Senior Scientist, and Scientist. Richa successfully led the R&D team in advancing transparent photovoltaic (PV) technology from lab ideation to real-world deployment, overseeing an $8M budget and managing a top-tier team of 30 members. Significant achievements include implementing AI/ML for material discovery, optimizing device architectures for world-record efficiency, and establishing the first industrial-scale R&D lab for transparent PVs. Richa earned a PhD in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Materials Science from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.
