Simon Baker

Simon Baker has extensive experience in the garden centre industry, currently serving as Group Human Resources Manager and General Manager at Blue Diamond Garden Centres since June 2014. Previously, Simon held the position of Regional Manager at The Garden Centre Group from September 2011 to December 2013, overseeing 11 garden centres with significant financial responsibilities. In a prior role as Operations Director at Country Homes and Gardens from March 2001 to August 2011, Simon formulated company policy and directed strategy towards profitability while managing multiple garden centres. Simon's career also includes roles at Country Gardens Plc and B&Q, beginning in 1986 at the latter. Educational credentials include a degree from Cannington College in Somerset.
