We aim to address critical social and environmental challenges while achieving market-rate returns. Investing globally across all impact sectors, our integrated strategy focuses on social impact in emerging markets and environmental impact in developed ones, through direct and co-investments in both debt and equity. INCUBATED BY PARTNERS GROUP Initiated in 2015 by Urs Wietlisbach and backed by the Ursimone Wietlisbach Foundation, Blue Earth Capital has been incubated and built-up with the support of Partners Group, leveraging their experience as a global private markets investment manager. LEVERAGING MORE THAN 15 YEARS OF IMPACT & RESPONSIBLE INVESTING EXPERIENCE Our origin dates back to 2006, when Partners Group established its employee-backed foundation PG Impact in the wake of the 2004 Asian Tsunami. Since then, Partners Group has conducted many impact investments through this foundation and, in 2015, decided to support the creation of Blue Earth Capital as an independent impact investment firm. FULLY OWNED BY BLUE EARTH FOUNDATION Blue Earth Capital is fully owned by Blue Earth Foundation, a Swiss not-for-profit organization which protects the impact mission of Blue Earth Capital and re-invests 100% of the firm’s operating profits in support of its philanthropic activities.
