Stephan van Hoof

Stephan van Hoof is the CEO of Blue Foot Membranes NV since September 2020, leading the company with a unique proposition in the Membrane Bioreactor market. In addition to this role, Stephan has been the Business Owner of Ex-Aqua BV since July 2015, providing consultancy in the Water Treatment and Membrane Filtration industry. Previous experience includes key roles at VolkerWessels, where Stephan contributed to the transition towards a circular economy, and held director-level positions in business development and innovation. At Pentair, positions included Global Director of Product Management & Sales Engineering and R&D Director, while earlier career stages involved significant responsibilities in technology management, product development, and project management at companies such as Norit and LHS Microfiltrations. Stephan holds an M.Sc. in Food Technology from Wageningen University & Research.
