Alexa Hanohano serves as the Director of Safety & Compliance at Blue Hawaiian Helicopters since June 2021, managing all safety aspects under Part 135, including the Safety Management System (SMS) and compliance contracts. Additionally, Alexa acts as the Designated Employer Representative (DER) for the company's DOT Drug and Alcohol testing program, ensuring adherence to regulations. From February 2021 to February 2024, Alexa held the role of Director of Partnerships at Blue Hawaiian Activities, focusing on creating a strong portfolio of activities and tours in Hawaii. Prior experience includes positions as Senior Destination Manager and Destination Manager at Expedia Group, where Alexa developed and maintained supply partnerships and enhanced customer service experiences.
