Christopher Savanelli

Christopher Savanelli is an accomplished design professional with extensive experience in architecture and project management. Currently serving as Executive Design Lead and Design Project Manager at Blue Heron since February 2019, Christopher previously held the position of Project Manager at Morgante Wilson Architects Ltd. from June 2012 to March 2023. Early in the career, Christopher contributed as a Laser Lounge Technician at the University of Illinois at Chicago, supporting architecture students with laser cutting and 3D printing, and as a Teaching Assistant for Professor Juan Rois. An internship with WEATHERS Architecture also provided foundational experience. Christopher holds a Master's degree in Architecture from the University of Illinois Chicago and another Master's in Architecture from the University of Florida, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
