Kyle Taylor

Kyle Taylor is a Mechanical Engineering student at The Johns Hopkins University, expected to graduate in May 2026. Currently serving as a Controls Design Engineer at Blue Jay Racing, Kyle is responsible for the design and integration of the steering wheel and column for the 21XT vehicle. Previous experience includes roles as a Mechanical Engineer for the JH20XT vehicle, a Learning Den Tutor for undergraduate math and engineering courses, and an Electro-Mechanical Engineering Intern at Stanley Black & Decker. Additionally, Kyle was an Undergraduate Researcher at Terradynamics Laboratory, focusing on bio-robotic models, and worked as an Engineering Intern at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, contributing to hypersonic rocket motor and CubeSat projects.
