Hayley Brooks is a committed professional with extensive experience in disability and trauma support. Currently serving as a Lived and Living Experience Committee Member at Blue Knot Foundation since May 2023, Hayley shares personal trauma experiences to influence service design and advocacy for adults facing complex trauma. Previously, Hayley held various roles including Customer and Employee Experience Lead and Relationship Manager at Australian Disability Network, and Manager of Inclusion Projects at Council for Intellectual Disability. With a strong background in project management, highlighted through work on award-winning initiatives at the Centre for Disability and Research at the University of Sydney, and a foundation in social work education, Hayley's expertise reflects a dedication to empowering individuals within the disability and trauma sectors.

Blue Knot Foundation
Blue Knot Foundation, National Centre of Excellence for Complex Trauma is a trauma-informed policy, practice, training and thought leader. We empower recovery of the more than 1 in 4 adult Australians with experiences of trauma, abuse, violence as a child or adult. Blue Knot Helpline and Redress Support Service provides short term trauma phone counselling, support, information, referrals for childhood trauma survivors, their personal and professional supporters (call 1300 657 380 Mon-Sun 9am-5pm AEDT) as well as redress application support to survivors of institutional child sexual abuse. We also provide extensive evidence-informed resources including guidelines, videos and fact sheets.
