Ying Liu has a long and varied career. Ying began their professional journey in 1996 as an Instructor at Associated Colleges in China. In 1997, they became a Teaching Fellow of Chinese at Hamilton College. In 2000, they joined Apple, where they held various operations positions, eventually becoming the Managing Director of China Procurement Operations. In 2008, they were promoted to Director of Product Operations, and then to Senior Director of Product Operations and Corporate Social Responsibility. In 2013, they founded Jovia Inc., with the goal of developing software applications to make busy people's life easier. The company's first project was Trip+me®. In 2018, Ying founded Blue Lake Packaging, Inc., and currently serves as its Founder and CEO.
Ying Liu attended Michigan State University - Eli Broad College of Business from 1998 to 2000, where they earned an MBA in Supply Chain and Finance. Prior to that, they attended Beijing University of Aero and Astronautics from 1992 to 1996, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.).
