Blue Marine Foundation
Charles Clover is a prominent figure in marine conservation and sustainable seafood practices, currently serving as Co-Founder and Senior Adviser at Blue Marine Foundation since June 2023, after a successful tenure as Executive Director from November 2010 to 2023. Clover has a background in journalism, having been a columnist for The Sunday Times from July 2009 to April 2016 and serving as Environment Editor at The Daily Telegraph from 1987 to 2008. As the founder of Fish2fork, a platform promoting sustainable seafood, and the Director of The Fish Film Company, Clover has advocated for environmental awareness in various capacities. Clover holds degrees from the University of York and the University of Essex, where currently an honorary doctorate is being pursued in addition to a role as a visiting professor at the School of Biological Sciences.

Blue Marine Foundation
Known as Blue Marine, this UK registered charity was set up in 2010 by some of the team behind the award-winning documentary film ‘The End of the Line’. Blue Marine is dedicated to creating marine reserves and establishing sustainable models of fishing. Its mission is to campaign against over-fishing and for the effective protection of 30% of the world’s oceans by 2030.
