Spencer Kympton

Spencer Kympton has a diverse and extensive work experience. Spencer is currently the Managing Director at Blue Meridian Partners since January 2021. Prior to that, they were a Senior Advisor at Blue Star Families from January 2020 to January 2021. Spencer also served as a Senior Advisor at The Mission Continues from August 2019 to December 2019, and later became the President (CEO) from May 2011 to July 2019. In this role, they successfully expanded the organization's programs, team, and budget. Before that, Spencer worked as the Vice President of Recruiting at Teach for America from June 2008 to May 2011. Spencer also had experience as an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Co. from August 2004 to March 2008, where they worked on various social and private sector engagements. Prior to their civilian career, Spencer served as an Army Aviation Officer and Blackhawk Pilot in the U.S. Army from 1994 to 2002.

Spencer Kympton pursued their education by enrolling at the United States Military Academy at West Point from 1990 to 1994. During this period, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, which served as a foundation for their academic journey. Afterward, Kympton continued their education by attending the Harvard Business School from 2002 to 2004. During their time there, they earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree, focusing on the field of Business. Through these educational experiences, Kympton acquired a diverse skill set and knowledge base that would prove valuable in their professional career.
