Dr. Richard Williams

Dr. Richard Williams has extensive work experience in finance and auditing. Dr. Richard is currently the Director of Finance at Blue Motor Finance Ltd since November 2020. Previously, they worked at Allianz Global Investors for over 10 years, where they held various roles including Head of Expenses, Statutory Reporting and Transformation (EMEA) from September 2019 to October 2020, Head of Expenses, Statutory Reporting and Tax (Europe) from July 2017 to September 2019, and Head of Finance and Controlling, UK from September 2009 to June 2017. Before that, they worked as an Auditor at UK National Audit Office from February 2009 to June 2009, and at BDO LLP from September 2006 to February 2009. Dr. Williams also has research experience as a Research Scientist at Imperial College London from July 2001 to March 2006.

Dr. Richard Williams holds a diverse educational background. In 1994, they completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) Hons. in Chemistry at Imperial College London. Dr. Richard went on to pursue a higher degree and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Chemistry/Applied Physics from the same institution, completing their studies in 2002. In 2012, Dr. Williams participated in the Young Leaders Program at ESMT Berlin. Additionally, they have obtained a certification as an FCA from the ICAEW, although the specific month and year of achievement are not provided.
