Sarah McCarthy

Sarah McCarthy is a multidimensional professional with extensive experience in the arts and wellness sectors. Currently serving as a School Board Member at Blue Mountain School since August 2019, Sarah also operates as a ceramic artist at sarah mccarthy pottery, dedicated to creating functional pottery that enhances daily life. Additionally, Sarah teaches yoga at JUNE BUG CENTER INC, focusing on trauma-informed practices suitable for all levels. Previous roles include working as an artist at Jacksonville Center for the Arts and as an environmental education coordinator at Apple Ridge Farm. Sarah holds a 200 Hour Vinyasa and Hatha Yoga Teacher Training certification from Yoga Farm Ithaca and has a background in Spanish from Hendrix College and international study programs.
