Chris Brnjas

Director, Strategic Accounts at Blue North Strategies

Chris Brnjas has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Chris has worked at Blue North Strategies as a Director of Strategic Accounts since March 2023. Prior to this, they were an Associate Development Officer at MEDA (Mennonite Economic Development Associates) from July 2018 to February 2023. Chris also worked as a Research Assistant at the Centre for Community Based Research from September 2016 to May 2018. Chris has experience in student services and chaplaincy, having served as an Interim Student Services Program Assistant and Interim Chaplain at Conrad Grebel University College. Chris also co-founded an organization called PiE - Pastors in Exile from July 2014 to December 2016. In addition, they worked as a General Maintenance staff and Student Ambassador at Conrad Grebel University College from April 2009 to September 2012. Chris has also served as an Assistant Chaplain at Parkwood Mennonite Home Inc from May 2011 to April 2012.

Chris Brnjas earned their Bachelor's Degree in Peace & Conflict Studies - Honours Arts from the University of Waterloo in 2012. Chris then went on to complete their Master's Degree in Theological Studies at Conrad Grebel University College, also at the University of Waterloo, from 2012 to 2014. Finally, they obtained a Master's Degree in Theology: Spirituality & Psychotherapy from Wilfrid Laurier University from 2015 to 2018.
