Andrew McCaslin is a propulsion engineer with extensive experience in aerospace design and production. Currently serving as a Propulsion Engineer II at Blue Origin since February 2019, Andrew leads the design overhaul of the BE-4 Thrust Chamber Assembly, focusing on manufacturability enhancements. Previous roles at Blue Origin included responsibilities for transitioning development engineering drawings to production and managing thrust chamber production flows. Academic background includes a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Texas at Austin. Additional experience includes research positions and internships at NASA Glenn Research Center, where motion tracking code was developed, and conducting experiments related to gas turbine combustor instabilities.
