Cassandra R. serves as the Sr. Director of Customer and Payload Accommodations Engineering at BLUE ORIGIN, a position held since July 2015, overseeing engineering efforts for the New Glenn 2nd Stage. Previous roles at BLUE ORIGIN include Director of Mechanical, Materials & Structural Engineering and Sr. Manager of Mechanical, Materials & Structural Engineering, with a focus on payload fairing engineering. Prior to BLUE ORIGIN, Cassandra R. worked as an Aerospace Engineer in Structures Design at Boeing and as a Flight Test Engineer at Northrop Grumman. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering with a Minor in Meteorology and a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in Aviation from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, along with a Master of Science in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering currently in progress at Purdue University.
