Charlie Gummer

Charlie Gummer, P.E. is a seasoned engineer currently working as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer for New Product Introduction at Blue Origin since January 2020, focusing on build plans and tooling concepts for the New Glenn program. Previously, Charlie served as the MK2 Operations Program Manager for Tooling, overseeing the development of tooling for the MK2 Lunar Lander. With experience spanning various companies, including Helac Corporation and TerraPower LLC, Charlie has held multiple engineering roles, contributing expertise in mechanical design, analysis, and project management across the aerospace and oil & gas sectors. Charlie holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Washington and a Bachelor’s degree from Oregon State University.
