Dr. Yen Matsutomi

Dr. Yen Matsutomi possesses extensive experience in the aerospace sector, currently serving as Vice President of the Engines Design Office at Blue Origin since September 2018, having previously held roles as Sr. Director and Director of Combustion Devices within the same office. Prior to these positions, Dr. Matsutomi led the Injector Design and Development Product Group and worked as a Propulsion Engineer at Blue Origin from June 2010 to June 2018. Dr. Matsutomi holds a PhD in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering, as well as a Master's and Bachelor's degree in the same field, all obtained from Purdue University between 2000 and 2009.
