Eamon Ford is an experienced avionics test engineer currently working at Blue Origin since August 2025. Prior to this, Ford held multiple roles at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory from July 2019 to August 2025, including systems engineer for the Mars 2020 Instrument Data System and lead for payload uplink and downlink as part of the Mars 2020 Engineering Cameras team. Key contributions included commanding the Engineering Cameras onboard the Perseverance Mars rover and delivering science data to teams on Earth. Ford has a robust background in software development and data science, with previous positions at Uptake, HighGround, Inc., DARPA, and CERN. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Space Systems Engineering from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from the University of Chicago.
