Erin Ahern currently serves as a Configuration Engineer at Blue Origin since September 2023. Prior to this role, Erin worked at Boeing from July 2015 to September 2023 as a Design Engineer 3, focusing on structural design within the 737 Airframe - Fuselage Integration team and managing Airframe sustaining certifications. Erin also held internship positions at Boeing during 2013 and 2014, contributing to the 737 MAX Airframe trailing edge team. Erin earned a Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering with a focus on Composites/Structures from the University of Washington College of Engineering from 2017 to 2020 and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2011 to 2015.
