Harlan Kuo

Harlan Kuo is a Senior Fluids Engineer at Blue Origin since October 2023, having previously served as a Senior Manager and Mechanical Engineer specializing in Fuel Cell Power systems for First Mode from August 2021 to October 2023. Prior to that, Harlan held various roles at Blue Origin from January 2016 to August 2021, including Systems Engineer for cryogenic fluid and propulsion systems, and Crew Systems Engineer III for human-rated space systems. Harlan's experience also includes working as a Structural Engineering Intern at Space Exploration Technologies and co-founding the Human Powered Vehicle Team at Berkeley, where significant contributions were made in aerodynamic design and composites lab management. Harlan holds a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
