James Zhu

James (QingRui) Zhu is currently serving as the Turbomachinery Manufacturing Engineering Manager at Blue Origin, where responsibilities include overseeing the final assembly and manufacturing development of the BE-4 engine. Previously, James held the position of Lead Manufacturing Engineer, contributing to the production processes for the BE-4, BE-3U, and BE-3PM engines, as well as a Manufacturing Engineer role for the BE-3PM Flight Engine. Prior experience includes a tenure at Collins Aerospace, where James worked as a Senior Operations Supervisor, managing new product development and team performance, and as a Manufacturing Engineer focusing on logistics for a major production relocation. An educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Clarkson University.
