Jeff Barnes is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in aerospace engineering, currently serving as Principal Engineer at Blue Origin since April 2025. Previously, Jeff held the position of Design Engineering Manager at TLG Aerospace from March 2023 to April 2025 and worked as an Amazon Senior Technical Program Manager at Amazon Fulfillment Technologies & Robotics from October 2021 to March 2023. Jeff spent nearly 15 years at Boeing, where significant contributions included lead roles in wing design engineering, pioneering new lamination methods for composite materials, and collaboration with international partners. A graduate of Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering, Jeff began the engineering career as Principal Investigative Engineer at Qinetiq North America.
