Jon Polaha

Jon Polaha is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in propulsion, materials, and aerospace applications. Currently serving as Propulsion Lead in Space Mobility and Senior Project Manager for Advanced Development Programs at Blue Origin since March 2016, Jon has a background that includes significant roles at Aerojet Rocketdyne from 2000 to 2016, where responsibilities spanned from materials and processes technologist to Senior Project Engineer for notable space flight missions. Prior to this, Jon worked as a Structural Analyst at Boeing and as a Visiting Scientist at the Air Force Research Laboratory, contributing to various projects involving composite materials and structural analyses. Academically, Jon holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Syracuse University.
