Jose Lopez

Jose Lopez is a Mechanical Design Engineer II at Blue Origin, contributing to the ECLSS system for Lunar Permanence since July 2022, and has previously held a position as a Structural Design Engineer in the Advanced Development Program. Jose's professional background includes experience as an Aerospace Engineering Intern at NASA, focusing on cube satellite research to enhance plant growth in space, and roles in customer service at Sam's Club and Target. Additionally, Jose served as a Laundry/Housekeeping Supervisor at Hampton Inn Melbourne and worked as an Engineering Intern at Apollo Carbon, where research on propulsion methods and autogenous pressurization systems was conducted. Jose holds a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering from Florida Institute of Technology and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical/Space Engineering at the University of Florida.
