Julien Boselli

Julien Boselli, PhD, serves as the Director of New Glenn Materials & Processes at Blue Origin since January 2020, leading a team of over 40 professionals in defining, implementing, and verifying requirements for the New Glenn orbital vehicle. Prior to this role, Julien accumulated extensive experience at Arconic as a Senior Manager in Mechanical, Materials & Structural Engineering and as a Senior Materials & Processes Engineer, managing significant aerospace R&D budgets and leading the development of innovative aerospace thick plate products. Julien's earlier career includes positions at Alcoa, focused on the development of thick aerospace products and customer interactions, as well as a role at Constellium, where project coordination for European technologies in aerospace and automotive applications was key. Julien holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Materials Science from the University of Southampton and has degrees in Materials Science and Mechanical Engineering from Grenoble INP - UGA and an International Diploma from Imperial College London.
