Kevin Fritz is an accomplished engineer with extensive experience in avionics systems and aerospace engineering, currently serving as the New Glenn Avionics Lead Systems Engineer at Blue Origin since February 2018. In this role, Fritz oversees avionics architecture development for the New Glenn orbital heavy lift rocket, focusing on requirements capture and automation verification. Previously, Fritz managed a team responsible for avionics systems engineering for New Glenn, building a skilled team from the ground up. Earlier in the career, Fritz held various engineering roles at UTC Aerospace Systems, including a special assignment as a Flight Test Engineer for the Boeing 787-10 and positions in systems engineering for advanced aircraft technologies. Fritz holds a Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from Purdue University and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville.
